CONNECTING activities presented during the Learning Teaching Training Activity of the ERASMUS+ CREAMS project
On September 3, 2024, at the Municipal University Library in Limassol, Cyprus, Dr Athos Agapiou delivered an insightful lecture as part of the ERASMUS+ CREAMS project’s Learning Teaching Training Activity 2 (LTTA2). The presentation focused on the application of Earth observation and remote sensing technologies in the monitoring and preservation of cultural heritage sites. Dr Agapiou highlighted notable case studies, including Fikardou, Chrysoroyiattissa, and the Holy Cross, demonstrating how these advanced tools were utilized to safeguard cultural landmarks. This lecture underscored the critical role that remote sensing played in the conservation of heritage, offering valuable insights into the integration of technology in cultural preservation efforts.
